Incredible Shrinking Woman Tip #3 Energy

Let's speed up your perfect weight results.
Create your own energy to increase your metabolism!

Have you ever noticed how some foods slow your energy levels and metabolism down?
Your body gives you clues...so listen to your body.
  • Does milk make you sleepy?
  • Does turkey cause a yearning for a nap?
  • Does cheese pizza make you yawn?

Keep a journal and track for a week how you feel when you eat.

  • Notice how fruit gives you a nice smooth boost of energy!
  • Feel the long lasting satisfaction of fullness from oatmeal.

Here's a little mental yoga for you:

  1. Raise your hands high over your head. Now...Reach higher for the sky than before...note that your chest opens up and you draw extra air in. Feel the energy from the deeper breathing. Take in several more deep breaths. Even your thoughts become clearer.
  2. Think to yourself..."Food fuels my body, like gas for my car". Would you put inferior gas in it? Never! If you want to have top performance, ingest the best!
  3. Take a mental vacation. Where are you and what are you doing? Close your eyes and relax and think of the wind blowing in your face and your body operating on all cylinders. Can you feel the tingling of your skin as your blood surges through your veins supplying energy and a huge smile on your face?
  4. Picture your perfect body all slim and trim and your clothes slide right on without any effort at all. What will you be wearing for your next party? Just the thought of how great everyone is going to be telling you that you look is worth the time it takes to focus on achieving your health and weight goals.

Remember...Great health is a balance of mind, body, activity and nutrition.

Incredible Shrinking Woman Tip #1

So you want to be what size???

Just picture it!

That is the best, easiest, fastest way to start your health and perfect weight journey!
Form a picture in your head and heart and find a snapshot of yourself when you were at that perfect weight in the past. Can't find one...no problem! Cut a picture of that great body out of a magazine and paste your head on! Why does this work??? Who knows...it does, just do it!

So now think to yourself:
  1. What does your ideal size and weight look like to you? Write it down.
  2. What does it feel like when you slide that slinky outfit onto your perfect body? Write it down.

Start journaling your way to your perfect weight. Remember: when you see it you can believe it!

Close your eyes, and think about how awesome it feels when someone says, "Gosh, you look terrific!" And NOW you respond with, "Thank you".

What might you have said in the past when complimented?

  • Oh...I'm so......
  • Oh, I've got 10/20/30 etc. pounds to lose...
  • I... whatever! You know how we talk to ourselves.

The limiting belief in ourselves, and the old vision of stuggle and being deprived, is a thing of the past!

Welcome to The incredible shrinking woman blog, by Nancy




Hi it’s Nancy Sustersic from Marco Island, FL and I am that incredible shrinking woman!
(for those who need a landmark-Marco Island FL is just S. of Naples FL)
Here's a pic of me at size 18.

It all started one month ago when my girlfriends and I went on vacation and we came home and threw the scales away. Our dieting days were over.

Have you ever thought…vacations, holidays, parties, weddings…all equal weight loss? NO…it’s the opposite, but that wasn’t the case for us. We were gifted with the knowledge of how to lose weight and shed extra sizes, but here is what we really learned.. It’s not about losing weight anymore. You must first think of your perfect weight in your head and then RELEASING the weight becomes almost effortless! It’s about balance of your body and mind. That’s the secret. Anyone can do it and it is free to learn how.

Having been a yo yo dieter for years I was so excited to begin (can't you just imagine) and as of today, just 3 weeks after getting home, I am now 2 sizes smaller. I’ve shared this with my girlfriends as we were told to go home and start a club with family and friends because it is so much more fun to offer support to one another. So we started "The Secret To Perfect Weight Club" blog. My gift to anyone who wishes to know this secret...is to share it with you on how you can achieve your perfect weight through the holidays and get a head start on your New Years resolutions now. I consider that to be a great way to “pay it forward” to anyone that is dedicated to get off the fad diet search forever!
